FSA Specialist


Job Description:
Responsible for processing transactions for any tasks involved with the administration of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) plan of our clients.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  •  Monitors the clients’ Flex email accounts and routes requests to the appropriate areas using an online workflow application
  • Responds to participant emails to acknowledge receipt and respond to basic inquiries (as defined by the client)
  • Reviews scanned claim documents for eligible expenses and encoding or processing specific data points into an online administration system for the purpose of reimbursement check release or electronic funding transfer
  • Reviews scanned benefit card documents for eligible expenses and encoding or processing specific data points into an online administration system for the purpose of reimbursement check release or electronic funding transfer
  • Ensures compliance of all submitted claim documentation according to U.S. Cafeteria Plan Administration Regulations and against client specified requirements.
  • Encodes various participant account data from scanned paper documents or online database resources into an online administration system
  • Handles the issuance and administration of debit cards
  • Corresponds with client counterparts as necessary using client systems and applications
  • Corresponds and coordinates with internal and external contacts regarding clarifications on processed transactions
  • Produces and completes various reporting tasks assigned by the client
  • Ensures the accuracy of all processed transactions
  • Maintains confidentiality of all client and customer information in compliance with HIPAA standards and client requirements
  • Maintains confidentiality, integrity and availability of all forms of information in compliance with company Information Security policies
  • Actively participates in all required training
  • Any ad-hoc activity assigned by the client
  • Compliance with the Company Quality and Information Security Policy and sub-policies. Responsible for protecting information assets of the company, company assets from unauthorized disclosure, breach or loss.
  • Any assignment/project given by Operations Management
  • Responsible for audit functions in the department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years’ customer relations/call center experience an advantage
  • Knowledge in US insurance industry is an advantage
  • 1+ years’ experience performing a process- and detail-oriented function, preferably claims processing
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willing to work in shifts (no night shift)
  • Proven comfort level with learning and working with various computer applications
  • Demonstrated ability for routine work
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
